About Orant
Orant is a prayer app built on a simple conviction: prayer is mostly something we do for other people.
Most prayer apps are libraries — shelves of content you scroll alone. Orant is the relationship layer. When you pray for your mom before her surgery, she can feel it. When a friend is in the hospital, you can carry them by name. The point isn’t to consume more devotional content; it’s to be present to the people you love when words are hard to find.
What Orant does
- Finds the words. Share what’s on your heart and Orant shapes a prayer from lines written by people, personalized with the names you love.
- Slows it down. A paced player lets each line brighten in its own time, so you can breathe between the words.
- Carries it together. Small private circles — family, close friends — let you pray for one another and know when someone has prayed for you.
How our prayers are written
Every prayer here is original — written in a warm, broadly Christian, non‑denominational voice. We ask; we never promise outcomes. Any Scripture is quoted exactly from a public‑domain translation, with the reference shown.
